I guess I would want to know exactly what the truck is doing to make him think yours is bad. Did he check the line pressure with a TECH 2 at WOT? Does it lope a idle? Do you have a lift pump installed? What exactly is it doing? The LBZ pump does put out a little more fuel, but if you are not running the rail dry or lowering the pressure a bunch at WOT it won't make much difference. They aren't that much different anyway.

If you end up replaceing the pump, then def. put a LBZ pump in its place. It can only help and they are pretty close to the same money.

it is surging at idle and with all my tuners off i can get the truck to 1093 with a brand new filter he thinks it is just the fuel regulator but he is goin to try to get my warrenty company to pay for a new pump but if he can't he is going to put my pump back if it is ok witch i think it is but i was just asking the question about the LBZ pump because i hered that and was just trying to find out if that was true

What?!? I garauntee you cant run the rail dry and not 1093!
Unless you have that code disabled with efi live or something, that code is set when there is to much variance between desired and actual rail pressure.

Funny, I don't get that code and my rail pressure is way down. Desired is 23,000 actual is 8,000, shouldn't that set off the code?

1093 is a lly thing
Do a bottle test and see if you pass or fail it. That will tell you if the relief isnt holding.
