Just a quick question. Can't seem to find in any other threads. What is stock idle setting for 04.5 lly? Mine idles 700-800 rpm. Found I have to hold brake pedal firmly when shifting from park to drive and vice a versa or I'll get some banging or momentary shifting as it passes the gears. Is that normal? Seems that lowering the idle would help. Any thoughts?

Thats characteristic of the Allison transmission. It has a very big parking pawl and takes a bit more effort and makes a loud clunk.
