My 1997 6.5 has stalled three different times in one week, seems like when low RPMs, starts back up easy. Clogged fuel filter?? Electronincs? Where do I begin? Anything easy to check or replace before I commit to takin it in to dealer??? No other sympyoms,

Fuel pressure and air/fuel filter are the first things to check. Liftpump operation and OPS working.

Thanks, I'll check those things and I've read here about liftpump but how does one check that?
