Anyone have any hints on replacement? Gonna do it today...how do I bleed pressure from system?

Pull the Fuel pump relay out while it's running, take the gas cap off.

Hint: make sure you have an extra shirt just in case.

I usually release the presure via the pet**** valve on the fuel rail. It's the valve that looks like a tire stem. Just have a rag ready to catch a little fuel thats leaks out.

What jgerni said. Its on the passanger side fuel rail, actually on the fuel line right before the rail. You need to take the plastic cover thing off the top of the motor to see it, it has a little cap on it. Be sure to cover it completely with a towel or rag otherwise you will get a mouth full of gas-:t . When you go under the truck be sure to put a bunch of paper towels in the frame under the filter to soak up the fuel that comes out of the filter. I pulled the gas cap to just to be sure. Good luck.

Thanks guys... Got 'er done...ended up doing it before I got any responses...

I just undid the lines slowly and let it run all over...key here is be sure the key is "off" so not trying to pressurize. I was thinking how bad it coulda been had someone been listening to the radio in "run" position or something...

Some good advice in the prior responses...especially the towels in the frame.
