I have searched for this and dont see anything that is current. I was looking at upgrading my 05 instrument panel to the Escalade one. But reading the previous versions looks sounds like there were issues with the tow light and oil guage.... First here is the link to what im refering to http://www.newtruckstuff.com/shop/product.php?productid=20105&cat=0&page=1

My questions are:
1. If I use this do I need to add a temp probe in the tansmition seeing that the 05 does not have this on the instrument panel.
2. The oil guage looks to be correct.... 120psi
3. Do I need to have it programed for my truck?
4. Is this plug and play has anyone used this before?

We have a few different gauge styles for the Diesels. We have complete clusters and upgrade kits that just utilize the core cluster and replaces the face/Bezel/needles.
To answer your questions.
1. The tranny's already have the sensor in place. if your cluster doesn't have the tranny temp gauge, then it would be easier to just upgrade the whole cluster versus adding the tranny gauge. If yours is a Dmax, then you should have the tranny temp gauge.
2. We have faces specific for the diesels that have all the correct readings and numbers.
3. If you replace the whole cluster, then you may need to have it programmed. I've had 05' that have needed programming and 05' that didn't need it. You'll know once you plug it in.
4. Yes, plug n play. No additional wiring needed.

Feel free to give me a call. I'll be happy to answer any questions about the clusters. 281-533-9900
