Can anyone give me advice on the best box for a ZF 6-speed?

I know that the TST box is supposed to work well on the manuals, but I am wondering if there are any other boxes that I should consider.

Has anyone run a Quadzilla with the ZF?

Will Edge ever come out with a box for the ZF?

Which box works best with drugs (propane)?

I would have to say the TST Powermax would be best if you want lots of power. But then again if you want to spend $1500 you can get the Stealth in a whopping 215 hp. Now from what I have seen and read, that is the most power you will get from a single box.

Keep us abreast of what you do.

The TST Comp sounds like the hot ticket for a 6-speed, wow are they expensive though!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Pinch.gif

Anyone know how or where to get one reasonably priced?

I sold mine for $525 to a local guy. Check ebay, and look here in the forum, maybe someone has one they don't want.

I have ran about everthing on ZF trucks and the TST isn't the only choice. It really depends on how much hp you want and what kind of drivability you can live with.

So how did they all compare CPMac?

It really depends what hp level you want to be at. They all have good and bad points.

Did you find out what level the stock 6spd is good for?

The stock six speed will handle about anything most people could throw at it. Mine is sitting in the floor with a busted output shaft and the rear end is broke also.

Ok, that said, which chip supports low RPM's the best? I do 99% my driving at 1300-2200RPM's.

Thanks for the info, nice to talk to someone with lots of experience in modding the 6-spds.

I would bet the TST Powermax, due to it's torque management with 9 setting for torque.
