would u say that in1994 the 6.5 was almost as good a engine as the other engines for that year, or atleast closer than they r now

From what I've read and looked at during that time frame I'd say it was as good and made as much power and ran as quick as the other out there. The rest is history and why we are all here nowtry to make it better.

Your truck is a couple grand away from being complete. Once you get the cooling and intercooling installed, chip it and get the high pop's, you've finished the job Goof and Mick didn't.

i thought about a chip but iv heard people talk about how much shorter time the engine will run with bein turned up. mines at 160,000 now so i figure im only maybe 50,000 miles away from breakin a crank or bendin a rod or even fuel pump, AGAIN! , so id hate to put a chip in and my engine blow up at 200 when i might be able to run 3 or 350

I don't have a chip either. I'm going to squeeze all I can out of it first.
