I know cooling the air makes it more dence which means more fuel can be burned and = more power. I was on www.designengineering.com (http://www.designengineering.com) and found the CryOČ Air Intake system. It is an aerodynamically designed bulb with a cryogenic chamber which liquid COČ flows thru that cools the air flowing over it and it is mounted in a 4" segment of air tube that you mount in you air cleaner tube. They also have the CryOČ Fuel Bar with a cryogenic chamber which liquid COČ flows thru that cools the fuel. The thing that I'm not sure about is cooling diesel. Will that make more power like it does with gas engines or will I have ignition and fuel gelling problems from the cooler fuel? Any sugestions and/or info is apreciated. In the warmer months you could benifeit from cooler fuel but in the winter you should warm it.

Thats what I figured. But what is too cool? It says that the co2 gets to -80F and I would think that might be a little too cold for diesel fuel. Any ideas?

I would have to see what it did first to say. It doesn't likely get the fuel that cold.

Would work for drag strip but just how much CO2 do you plan on carrying? Going to go through it prety quick.

DEI has kits for 5lb and 10lb bottles but they have a on/off timer that meters how much co2 you use. So i'll probobly get the 10 pounder, timer and cryo2 intake but I think that the fuel cooler would get the fuel a little to cold for diesel.
