I'm looking for a quality shop where I can purchase a 6inch lift and have it installed? I live in the central florida area. And suggestions?

Any particular brand in mind? Our shop usually does the rancho 4" kit but we have done a few 6" pro- comp kits. Both kits are fairly easy to do but the rancho lines up better with the stock frame holes. We have done a couple of superlifts but I personally don't like them but others do. We're in Lady Lake, just N of Leesburg. I am in Lakeland, fl. I had a 6 inch Fabtech lift done. The truck rides better than stock. It turns a lot of heads. I had it done at Taylor and Allen's in plant city. They are a small shop but do a lot of trucks and have some good install guys. I was going to go with 4 wheel parts but their prices are quite a bit higher and they really push their pro-comp brand which they own. I chose the fabtech because it required the least amount of cutting on the frame. Only one small bracket had to be trimmed and a little off of the t-case. The pro-comp, and especially superlift have a lot of unnecessary cutting.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley11.gif]


If you have the money the CST (california super trucks) have the best built lifts if you plan on being rough on your truck. I've heard from friends that you cant break them. They are really solid and only a few shops install them. If you do go with one make sure the shop has installed it in the past and ask to see pictures. Some shops will let you come by when they have one done so you can see it and decide before you buy. Call around and ask a lot of questions.
