Tanked up today with Shell premium. 30.17 GALLONS, $56.69. Thats $1.879 per gallon. Saw it at $1.759 (don'y like the brand) and $1.969 for another brand. Have a couple friends with big tractors and dirt trailers who took thier rigs off the road because they can't afford the fuel. Both of them are now driving for a local Sanitation Fill company and if it weren't for thier wives having good jobs they would lose thier rigs. Edited by: Bill Gisse

Oil is up about $4 a barrel since last week and the crude oil futures do not look good either (if you are a consumer using the product) I fear bigger "storms" on the horizon.

I live in Fl. After the last storm it was impossible to find fuel. I was forced to run off road in my 2500hd. Does anyone know if that can cause serve damage? If not, it's hard to beat the price of 1.38 for offroad.....

"Off Road" does not have road tax on it in price, otherwise it is the same product but it is not "legal" for on road use.

Thanks for the response, not really worried about the legal part. I only ran about 1 tank while fuel was unavailable. Just wanted to make sure I wasnt messing up my truck... thanks

Current crude oil futures prices are just about 3 dollars shy of the all time high and steadily climbing.

My first fillup at lunchtime - $1.899 / gallon at a Citgo here in Bellaire - OUCH! Premium gasoline was 1.959.

15.1 calculated MPG (DIC said 16.5! MPG) for mixed city and freeway driving.

FYI - under the same driving conditions I usually got 12 to 13 MPG in my '02 2WD 1500HD 6.0 & 4.10 rear.
