I have an 07' classic LBZ, truck is 1 month old with 2100miles. I have been noticing a fairly loud ( loud enough I am noticing it and its driving me crazy) noise that happens from just off idle up throught the rpm ranges. The noise goes up and down, directly related to the RPM's.
It sounds like a gear driven cam in a built muscle car ( not that loud, but same type of sound). Its also, almost like the sound you hear on a power steering pump when its low on fuid, but I checked that is not the culpret.
Any ideas?
I have read about someone having a bad bearing in their turbo when the truck was new, and also someone posted a "whining type noise" associated with loose bolts at the exhaust head pipe joint, but I am not thinking that is my issue.... my noise definately sounds like gear noise.....
Thanks guys!
