We have had fitted a long range fuel tank by the dealer, 210 litres however the fuel guage and k's left to run are now reading incorrect readings should this happen or could they be adjusted with the trucks computer, or any other method.

I have an added capacity Transfer Flow tank and the fuel gauge is relatively accurate. The installation instructions included a section on calibrating the fuel sending unit with an ohm meter. In my case no adjustment was necessary. The mileage display on the DIC does not accurately predict miles attainable until next fillup. Everything else associated with the DIC and mileage works normally. The computer just doesn't realize the tank capacity has increased.

Actually we don't do tank size recals for the LBZ yet, however, when (if) we do add that function in you would only need to find someone willing to program it for you at the cost of a licence ($99).

Cheers,
