ok guys, as you know I'm looking to build my alli, still looking for the best parts for the right price... anyways I priced some parts from local shops. I knew it was going to be expensive but not that expensive... basicly 4,800 bucks just for parts and I have to put it in... granted it could be cheaper for less power... but I told them I wanted my alli to hold whatever I threw at her. ( this was ATS parts and co-pilot by the way) now what I need to know is with my up grades that I have now (edge) what would be the best upgrade to get me by till I can get my cash put back...I'm thinking suncoast or transgo...

also I need to ask this question( probably get sick at the answer) I was toying around with my edge/additude a few weeks back... tought I'd try the 1/4 mile and 0-60 foot times....well as you all know it keep records...when running in extream setting.... it said the back down was at 56% to me this doesn't look like it would be a good thing... and I'm guessing my alli is the reason... now with you all knowing this... if this has hurt my alli and she now requires more work or upgrades let me know... I've only run it in the number 5 setting that once... after I saw that I've just run it in setting 1.

I think that sounds a little expensive. i think you could get a suncoast stage 5 for a little more and that is a fully built trans. also if you are getting all the clutches with that it should not matter if you kill the clutches in the trans you have now because you will be replacing them anyway.

Dont get ats get the suncoast stage 5 much better tranny for the price. As far as your edge run it on 5 how ever much u wanna i got a hot efi live tune in my dmax with a stock tranny and run the hell out of it everyday now i need a tranny but your edge itself should not hurt it bad. Mine never limped with my edge juice w/***

I got the stuff you speak of and a SC T case brace($200) for about the same money so you aren't bad off. The price diff is in the Co-Pilot. The shipping back and forth to ATS is part of the killer too and that is usually incl in the price.

Your backdown was probably from EGT's not tranny slippage. Check with Mike L or Eric, a Suncoast Level IV isn't much more than half that without a Co-Pilot.
