based on your own oppinions and also based on true facts, what would you say is the better between the both tuners and why?? banks six gun vs edge juice with attitude

Well I personally run the Banks and love it! Great tuner and can really feel the added power. Now my brother-in-law has a pickup that's a twin to mine and has the Edge Juice on it and it's really nice too. His truck seems to get slightly better fuel mileage and seems to have a little more power too. But he always has an exhaust and I don't. I'm waiting to see what my truck is like when I get the exhaust done. One big thing I've noticed is he's limped his tranny a couple of times with the Edge and I have yet to with the Banks. Next time he comes home we're gonna put the Edge in my truck and then I'll be able to give you a better comparison.

in my truck i run edge and it defiantly will limp my trans, now my friends truck has banks big hoss bundle and he has limped his trans but not nearly as many times as i have. i don't think the edge shifts as well as banks, but IMO the edge has more power.

sounds cool, let me know how that goes when u do the switch. and yeah i have also limped my tranny a few times. thats the only downer i got. it only happens when im on the freeway doin about 90mph and then i put the peddle to the floor then it sputters and goes into limp. then i just have to pull over and turn the truck off for a minute then turn it back on and its back to normal. it does suck though when the rice burner flies by on me when i know i could take him. but o well. i heard there is an upgrade to do so it wont limp, but hvent done it yet. but for sure let me know when u test te edge out on your truck. thanks

I switched from edge to banks, and what I have noticed so far is, more power, less egts, less smoke, and alot better product! no egr codes either from no kitty. shifting is 10 times better too. its more money, but I would reccommend it over the edge any day. level 6 on edge would set my egr alarm off everytime. (1350) banks on SL WOT does't go over 1300, and is pretty much smoke free. I like how you can adjust the amount of fuel for each gear that you are in. I do 100% fuel in 1-4, 60% in 5, and 40% in 6. you can't do that with edge, so you can limp it easier. just my opinion, but I am 100% satisfied with the banks 6 gun w/PDA. so many more options than edge.

not with the banks, well mine doesn't anyway. mine did all the time with the edge. it was a EGR code

Heres the big comparison...Banks makes safe power and Edge makes power. The Edge makes more or feels like more power because there isn't as much safe stuff added in. Banks makes sure that it's safe first. Edge has harsh shifting and the banks is smoother. I don't have either now but did have the Edge for a week and sold it. I'm going with banks next, but EFILive is the best choice of all.

Banks Six-Gun Tuner are design to completely independent of factory system,If you cut power to the Six-gun Tuner when truck is running it will not miss a RPM, Now with Edge ,It will miss ,blow fuses,possibly die and not be able to restart,Six-Gun Tuners default to stealth mode, the only difference is NO additional HP until the problem is resolved...

the edge wont hurt my truck thought right? unless i were to really be romping around all over the place though right? cuz i have the tuner just for towing and the better gas mileage. im not using it to race or show off really. just normal driving conditions. with that all said is it still as bad as everyone makes it out to be?? haha

I agree Tireman, Banks make good, reliable and safe plug and play power. If you think you might want to continue putting mods on your rig and succumb to the addiction of more and more power...EFI Live!
