OK Gang, what's the method for replacing the DRL's with Amber lights? I've heard lots of people doing that and I finally saw one with that mod done. It looks pretty sweet.


So, anyone know what you have to do?

Go to Autozone, or O'reilly and purchase the Amber bulbs you are seeking which should be 9145 or something like that and then remove existing bulbs and install new ones.. Might have to order them, some will carry these bulbs and some will not.. Good luck...

4157NALL I believe is the bulb number. You'll have to confirm that.

Norcal, it is simple...pop headlights out, pull the signals out (they just pop out too....Turn the socket, pull the old bulb out, put amber bulb in 4157NALL is the correct number...The project should take 10 minutes or less!

Well - I finished this mod with the Max Power Mod at the same time. Works great, and I must say, I love the look.


I got the Silvania Silverstar 3157/4157 bulbs and I'm very pleased.
