BlueCrew 04 D/A SB GMC 09-19-2004, 01:31 PM OOPS!
I think those f650's are the coolest trucks I've ever seen and I'm not a ferd fan, but those are just awesome. Everyone I showed those pictures too said AWESOME too.
It would be cool if GM made one that cool lookin hey?
Tom Cobb 09-19-2004, 02:42 PM International hasn't made a pickup since back in the early 60's but they sure have one now. I saw one a couple of days ago but didn't know what it was at the time. It must have some incredibily low gearing since it is only 220 hp and 540 ft/lbs torque.
I think the BIG pickup race is on with GM producing the 4500/5500 series and Ford with the 450/550/650 and now it looks like International is getting into the fray. Where is Dodge??
Tom
DuckhunterInTN 09-19-2004, 09:08 PM I was kinda suprised that it was rated to tow only 12,000lbs....heck my dmax will tow that with a gooseneck...
still cool though...
I heard the $$ range from like $90-120 depending upon options....http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif

That is 12,000 pound payload not tow rating. The ad doesn't give a tow rating.

Biohazard 09-20-2004, 01:42 AM I write for a an off road "e-zine" called Off-Road.com. I just got back from covering a sand sports expo and saw this rig again. I'm not much of a ford guy, but I do love this truck. First time I saw it was at a different motorsports expo about 3 months ago.

Do you guys know that the current F-650 and F-750 are actually made by International?
A joint venture between Ford and International based in Escobedo, Mexico makes the chassis then either a Ford or an International cab are put on them. The company is called "Blue Diamond Truck". All the engineering and design was done by International.

gslam88 09-21-2004, 12:19 AM The International was written up in Construction Equipement mag just lately... not that I can put my hands on it now.. but the one thing I do remmeber from the article is that the bed is from a ford....
NoWake.. its less than 26K.. no CDL required....
Also found this out
CXT owners will travel in comfort and style. The four-door, six-passenger crew cab has its own air suspension system and air-conditioning, power windows and a nice Panasonic sound system with CD changer are standard, as are nice extra touches like door-mounted arm rests for driver and passenger and a cigar lighter. If that's not enough, the truck can be outfitted with a variety of luxuries like a leather interior with wood grain trim, reclining captain chairs, a drop-down DVD player, XM satellite radio system and even a bench seat that can be folded down into a bed. A worthwhile option is the rear-mounted camera to help when backing up. Handy, considering your line-of-sight over the tailgate is probably in the next county.
It's price tag is from $93K to $115.. way to rich for my blood...
