Whats the cheapest leveling kit? i want to get something for my 2001 chevy silverado k2500hd 4x4...

just crank your stock torsion bar keys and see if you get the desired amount of lift. if not just buy new keys. thats the cheapest way, but ride might suffer.

Read this post. It should help you understand how much you can crank up your bars. Before you play with your truck its better if you see what happens then you can see what you want to do.

"cheapest" might cost you in the end when it comes to ride, tire wear/alignment capability, ball joint wear...

I'd read up a bit on the different methods. Cognitomotorsports web site has a good run down on the issues...even if you dont buy there stuff. Also..Norcal website too...

cheapest way is to crank it 1.5" and get an alighnment, anymore and then you will be getting into shock extenders or longer shocks, then green keys and upper ucas.
