So I'm not totally sure if its a engine problem OR a Tranny problem.

When I had the ice buerge make a home under my truck, It edventually fell out, BUT I think It might have taken my Tow/Haul connection with it. My tow will NOT go on when I press the button, BUT yesterday it randomly went on and off a few time, I shut the truck off to reset it, and I was good for the rest of the day.

So my qestions..

Does this sound like a lose wire?
and if so WHERE is the wire, I can assume where it is, but any one know exactly?
Also, is it a hard fix if it is a wire?

Thanks for your help guys!!

Sounds like you have a wiring problem between the Tow/Haul switch circuit and trans module (the circuit does not go to the transmission itself). First place I'd look is in the steering column.

Remove the cowl around the column by removing the two screws underneath. Next locate the two wires for the T/W switch, they're white and run along the underside. Check to make sure they're not broken and the connections are good. It's not uncommon to have these wires get damaged. If they look good put a multimeter across the circuit at the connector and make sure it's normally open but closes when you push the button (it's a momentary switch so it will only be closed when you hold it down). That will verify if the switch is good or not.
