Got my Duraliner bedliner for my truck (sister-in-law works there and I get a pretty good deal).

Installation requires you to drill 4 holes in the tailgate for the tailgate protector. Directions say to "seal holes only with a GM approved silicone sealer"

I plan on using "normal" automotive silicone sealer - see any problems here??

What in the world is "GM Approved Silicone"??

any quality sealer will be fine..
