What Muffler do you guys prefer. Which one has the best flow, and would be most beneficial, Keeping in mind that were not going over board on the cost.

ohh yeah, and also pretend this muffler was going on a dual exhaust system on a 94 non turbo 6.5L

Has anybody ran an dual exhaust setup on a non turbo diesel without mufflers, or know anyone who has??? What is the sound like, and also the loudness?

i know several people with 6.2's or 7.3 non turbos that have duals. the only time they are loud is when they are givin em hell, which is most of the time.

Does it sound the same as a gas engine? or is there a different sound to it?

You have a '94 pickup with a 6.5 N/A?

Why not get a turbo, intake & R exhaust manifolds aircleaner box, exhaust crossover pipe and then run one 3-1/2" pipe? You should be able to get used parts cheap.

Yeah I have a 94 1500 Sierra SLE 6.5L Non turbo(n/a).

Is the wiring harness and computer not different for the turbo? however a turbo set up is out of the question for now.

It has a mechanical pump doesn't it? If so, the wiring won't make any difference.

If I were to put a muffler on it, I would go Flowmaster. Nothing beats the sound or life of one.

has anyone tried a 3" core glasspack muffler. they sell them through jc whitney and from my experience w/2.8 s-10 it really mellows out the higher tones in a strait through exhaust system. you see in my sig line that i don't have anything on my blazer except 3" pipe from the turbo out. i thought about adding one of these glasspacks but the sound really grew on me and i like scaring people.

come on guys, lose the mufflers, if its a diesel turbo or no turbo, no need for a muffler the louder the better

the new summit racing catalog has gibson exhaust systems for 92-94 6.5's. not sure if this is correct or if it would fit your application. nice lookin system with a muffler, over axle pipe, and tip. 375 for aluminum and 495 for stainless steel.
