I was working on installing HIDs tonight. Took a look at the owner's manual to see how they recommend taking the bulbs out (I was going to pull the grill and housings). The manual discribes how to remove the passenger's side bulbs but it doesn't say anything about the driver's side. I guess they don't want to tell you how to remove the battery and then work around the neck of the washer fluid container.
The passenger's side is easy. Just remove the induction and they are right there.

theres 2 lil metal clips that hold the whole head light assembly in, u just have to give them a 1/4 turn and pull them out, then you can pull the whole headlight out and have access to the bulbs :) hope this helps

LOL!!! :) There are more modded trucks than mine but I tend to do things a little different sometimes.
Thanks for the info about the clips (pins). Those are used in the OBS trucks. I forgot to mention that I'm working on a new body style truck. Those housings are bolted in (10mm bolts). The fit is pretty tight and I didn't want to pop them out and scratch the paint on the bumper. Getting the bulbs out from the back worked fine.
