I have an Autometer full A pillar replacement - 2 questions.

It's pretty tight and is suppossed to be put on over top of the existing pillar cover. Has everyone done this or do they just remove the exisiting cover and replace it with the pod.

2nd how does the exisiting cover attach? Do you just pull it off?

You can get it to fit with the existing A-pillar in place. It is a tight fit, but when you go to put it back in, push the bottom in first.

When I did it, I put the bottom in first, then grabbed with two hands, one on each side towards the middle, gave it a wiggle while pushing down and it kind of just popped into place.

To get the existing a-pillar trim off, pull straight out at the top, there is a single clip there, then once that is out, pull straight up (in line with the a-pillar) and it will pull out no problem. Don't force anything, if done right it is pretty easy.

Don't forget to unplug the speaker, if you have one.
