Hello,
Two days ago I got rid of my Edge HOT Juice and had BR Powersource Tune my truck with EFI Live. The truck runs amazing. It feels stronger and faster on EFI then Edge set on Level 5 "HOT".
I am very new to custom tuning but already am falling in love with it. Next on my list of things to do is TTS Dual Lift Pumps and Tranny upgrade which is happening within 2 weeks.
Just wanted to post this thread to say how impressed I am with Custom Tuning.
Is there anything to read for a beginer that you guys are aware of as far as learning what all thoses numbers and graphs represent when you are programming or watching someone program?

about how much more HP over stock are you? I had EFI done to my '02 and we ended up with about 105 over stock. it runs great, but I'll wait till the trans is done to go with more. the trans will limp when WOT going 4-5 shift or full throttle roll on in 5th.
love the extra power though :D

I am about close to 200HP over stock, I can only pin it, 1st, 2nd, 3rd gear, even at half throttle on 5th gear it will limp, hence the tranny upgrade in 10 days or so.

I like the extra that I have so to add another 100 hp would be sweet!!

oh and just after the tranny upgrade, I am installing the TTS Dual Lift Pumps. Will let you know how it all works out.

awesome, thanks. I already have the 4" MBRP so once the trans is done, I'll probably have the EFI bumped up to around what you have now. I want a little more power than I have now, but still want a reliable DD that I can safely tow with. that's why I have 2 settings now (105 and 60hp tow mode)

What about the fuel knock? With my edge i can't stand the knock it sounds like the timing is so far off.... and thats just set on 3 "drive" setting. With EFI Live how does it sound?

IMO, sounds pretty normal with possibly being slightly louder. we started with about a 150hp tune and it sounded like my buddies powerstroke :muahaha:
had to back it off little by little until we found a good setting for now.

Why go TTS way over priced and they are a knock off of the Kennedy Lift pumps. Unless your running a big turbo and duel fuelers it is a waste of money dont give your money to TTS(they are bad) I would go with one Edlebrock 1792 lift pump installed roughly 350$ installed. McRat ran a 11.77 at 114mph on a 1792 why go with The oTher guyS.

TTS is not bad, where do you get your info? Steve tunes the 2 quickest Duramax's in the world and his LB7 Xtreme is responsible for the quickest times on a stock(hardware) truck. Everything Steve sells works as advertised.

TTS has the fastest tunes on a truck with stock CP3 etc etc. Casper is not stock anymore...
