I need some help. I searched but couldn't find the answer I needed. I installed KD lift pump and pick up kit. I wasn't able to get the system to prime without blowing air into filler neck. Once primed truck would run at idle for maybe 5 minutes before running out of fuel again. Pump flow direction is correct. Wired correctly but it won't keep fuel to the system. Any help you guys can give me would be great.

Since you changed the pickup I would guess that is where the problem is.

The KD pumps will not prime the system so you still have to manually prime it. You should crack the bleeder and pump the hand pump until fuel comes out the bleeder. If you didn't crack the bleeder it could possibly be air in your filter causing your problem.

Thanks, I found the problem. It was getting air at a fitting in the pick up kit.
