I did some searches on info about lifting trucks and had a hard time. I was wondering what was the highest you could go before it started affecting handling and towing performance. I was looking at a 4 inch rancho lift, how much does that cost and can I install it myself? What lifts do you guys recommend and how much are they? Where could i get some pictures of wheels and tires at? Im new to this lifting truck subject to please be patient,

Thanks

Kits can run from 1200 to 1700 depending on the greed of the dealer. You can install it yourself but need to be handy with a sawzall and a welder(only minor welding,1 small plate on frame). Be very careful when loading/unloading T bars, some have used a gear puller(NOT RECOMMENDED). Just installed one on boss's 05 GMC and took us just over 3 hrs, of course we have a full shop and have installed a sh** pile of these kits. Take your time and read the directions first, they're fairly good. One last thing..... the parts are heavy
