Has anyone else had engine oil leak from above the oil pan on the driver side , oil seems to be coming down from directly above the pan ,but not the pan seal itself is leaking.

Yes i have that problem.It looks like oil but smell like antifreeze. Hoping its not a head gasket.

I've noticed the same thing but after watching it for several weeks I think I linked it to the drain plug. I tightened it (though I thought it was as tight it could be) and tightened it some more now it stopped. Doesn't really answer your question but thought I would share my oil leakage.

Check your upper oil pan drivers side bolt in the rear corner. Mine had to be replaced, tapped with a new bolt and both pans sealed.

thank u , it does seem to be leaking from the upper pan down onto the lower, I will check the bolt up in the rear corner of the upper pan, or i believe that it is the seal on the upper pan

I had the lower ( thought) pan leaking just a tad, more of a seepage, i just tightened the lower pan bolts up a little and it seemed to help..
