I have noticed that there has been quite a few post like this the last few days, but i am going to go ahead and explain my problem and hopefully someone can lead me in the right direction in getting it fixed. First off i have a 2005 GMC CC with the Duramax/Allison and it has about 31,000 miles on it. I was on the interstate today about 2 hours from my home and my truck was running fine and all of a sudden it was like someone turned the key off, but after i had slowed down and pulled off the interstate i realized it was still running, but it didn't have any power at all and it was making the diesel sound real loud, so i stopped and cut the truck off for a few minutes and then started it back up and was doing the samething, so i decided to take my edge ez off and see if that made any difference, but it didn't, so i then decided to take the boost stick off and it seemed to run a little better but still had a loss of power, so i again pulled over and changed the fuel filter, but still no better then i turned the truck off for about 20 minutes and then started it back up and it sounded fine so i took off back down the interstate and it went about 20 miles before doing the samething again, so i pulled over and started checking things and couldn't find anything then i remember how it seemed to clear up a little bit when i unhooked the boost stick, so i thought i would just unplug the boost sensor (thank god for the extension ) and just see what would happen and when i did that i ran fine all the way home about 100 miles, but the engine light was still on and every once in awile it would jump or buck with you just a little bit. Does this sound like the boost sensor or the injector harness that i have been hearing about this diesel stuff is all new to me so any help would be great and i am sorry for such a long post i just wanted to tell the whole story behind it. I guess i am going to be carrying it to the dealer monday morning, but i would like to know a little bit about what is going on before i get there and would it or will it hurt anything driving it like i did with the boost sensor unhooked and also why did my boost gauge still so boost with the sensor unhooked. Should i take the extension off the engine before carrying it to the dealer or will they say anything about it. Again thanks for any help you may provide me.

If it is the injector harness why would it have ran almost perfect after i unpluged the boost sensor and what all is involued in fixing the injector harness. Does anyone think i should remove the boost stick extension before i carry it to the dealer or will it never be questioned. Can someone please give me more feed back on this issue.

I would remove it because if not they are going to try to blame that and that evo for the problem. Make sure u got your programmer or box out because if they see that they will say they cant warrenty it

why dont you try to fix it yourself first.if it is the injector harness.its a 5 minute fix and you wont have to do any more work than removing your mods would require.
