My truck will have a lift on it here in the next few weeks one way or another...just in time to pull. Have any of you heard of a puller using a fabtech 6" lift? This guy is selling me on it's constrution and all, and he's telling me I can run this lift w/ the t-bars turned DOWN so it would really be 4" of lift and the geometry will be correct for a puller. Looking @ pics of a Tuff Country 4" and the Fabtech 6" they look similar. I'm 90% sold on the TC. Just wanting other opinions...can't wait to pull!!!
Also, can I use Cognito supports w/ any lift...or should I use a dif centerlink. Inquiring minds want to know!!!

i am running the cognito supports with my tuff country. i believe they will work with all lifts? I cant wait till pulling time either but its june before we get to tug anything around. I am a little ahead of schedule.
I really think I can clear my 16x12's & 325/70/16 Nitto's with the TC lift. I could w/ green key lift ( and some trimmin' ). The guy's selling point on the Fabtech is I've got 6" if I need it, but can run @ 4" if I want to. Any thoughts on that? $2200 cash out the door for the lift and labor. Good deal or not...we'll see. The count down is on.

just make sure that the way the lift drops the steering is knuckle type drop and not a drop centerlink because i believe the drop center link could cause alot of roll forward in the steering
shep i think you will better off running a 4" tc lift or cognito, i think you can run the tire you want without going to a 6". for pulling reason i would not run a 6" kit

just do some trimming on the innner fender well pinch weld and shim the front bumper forward and then let the tires rub their own way in the wheel wells
