i heard there is a single box making 492 HP and over 900 trq is this true?

From what I have heard this is true. I know of only one box that will push out those kind of numbers. I think it is still a secret and in the bag, but someone might want to disclose more info. some trucks react better than others... some have made more than that on one program and some have made less... my truck has always been somewhat of an under-achiever.. but i still made 460+HP and 970TQ on 1 program.. dyno's vary a lot.. just talk to anyone who's ran on several.. then there's correction factors which no one will ever agree on... bottom line is run what works best on your truck.. if you have the luxury, try a lot of different things. that's what i did and i picked what worked best on MY truck..

given the right air temp and conditions, the VA box will do close to that, and more then that with injectors.. Seen it myself.


But of course, that may vary with different trucks/dynos/etc...

my buddy ran 560HP, and 1100tq with a PPE, its quite impressive!!!! he's got injectors too though!

its ATS's dyno or whoevers dyno ATS usually uses, so not sure on dynojet or what not. I'm sure it was a 4th gear run (why would you do it in 5th????) he made at least 4-5 pulls, the 549hp (not 560, I typoed...) was the highest one they made that day they were playing with other stuff also, this was at one of the dyno days in Denver so many trucks ran that day on the same dyno, other guys made more power than him. his truck runs 12.60's at Bandimere, lots of ponies under the hood!!!Edited by: gsxr1216

No one made 549 that day on just one program and injectors. He was running alot more stuff on there too, just like me. It is wicked hard to make big power here at this altitude on just #2. Ask the Dodge guys. A heavy dose of water/meth was going in as well. The Dyno is a Mustang 1700 series. I made the most that day on #2 only at 472hp and 1017fpt. That took some coaxing as well. One program (thanks Steve Cole at TTS). Maddog didn't run on just #2. He would have blown my #s out on just #2, if he would have. Difference; purpose built fire snorter vs stocker with lots of crap ducted in. No contest. I'm building a purpose built fire snorter AND ducting all my crap in,(in process) for the near future though just to see what she'll do. It will be nice to see one turbo sitting off each cylinder bank also. Edited by: Super Diesel

i was pretty sure he did it on one box?? maybe he did have the va box on their also, cant remember now its been a while?? I do know though he was raving about this new PPE box's power, its quite a nice piece!!
