hi all,


i posted a couple weeks ago about things to look out for since i was in the market for a 2500HD. i ended up with an 03' crew cab with 22k miles and a 6.0. it had every option i wanted without the extras i dont need that just cost more. i have spent a couple weeks reading through the past several months of posts and am very impressed with the info and help here. i look forward to being a part of the group and learning a lot. i am going to post a couple topics regarding stuff i want to do with the truck, but i wanted to introduce myself and show off the new ride!

thanks. its easy to say get a black truck when you live in RI! haha, florida is a different story. i like the looks of black but WAY too hot. as for the boat, that one is a 21' key west cc and i use it as much as possible. also have a war eagle that is used for duck hunting and freshwater fishing.


as for duramax, thats what i really wanted but finding one around here is tough right now. i checked everywhere in a 150 mile radius. no 04s left and i couldnt afford an 05 since they didnt have the incentives of the 04s. found a couple ext cabs but i would rather have the gas crew cab. every dealer i called and asked if they had any just laughed and said good luck. im sure thats good news for any of you that are thinking of getting rid of one, im sure resale is great.


for what i tow and haul, i dont need the diesel power but it wouldve been nice. maybe next time. i love this thing and the power is amazing compared to the 200k miles 350 i got rid of! http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif

Time for a lift kit. Belirve it or not my black truck doesn't get very hot here in Cent. Fl, reckon the grey interior helps
