This is how I took my fuel test sample (http://community.webshots.com/album/83846161wSIlBH) using the Kent-Moore Gauge (http://community.webshots.com/album/73314886FLnSco). I recently modified the gauge by adding a tee and needle valve. This allows an easy way to get fuel samples and/or bleed the system when changing filter. The lift pump (while not necessary) also aids this process.
