Just did the Tranns-go Jr. We filled it up now have code po700 and is stuck in 3rd gear also have reverse. The shift from D to R is very stiff,or should say "Clunck". Maybe from resetting the trans. I'm pulling it apart now but thought someone might know if it is a stuck valve.Someone else had this prob. And said it was the E-valve, I don't know.:(

You should have read the code and posted it here before you tore it down. Doubt if it's an E shift valve on an '06.

Read the code and post it here. P0700 does not count as a code, that is only MIL comand.

You need an actual scan tool to pull the code(s). The code(s) are actually in your TCM, the P0700 is just to let you know that there are codes in there. You'll have to go to an auto parts store or the stealer to get them pulled.

Mike, could that be caused by installing the trim valves in the wrong place?

Clear the codes and retry before you pull it down again. I have seen that fix it some times. IF that doesn't do it then you will need to get a better scantool to get the codes out of the transmission.

Did you hook the one solenoid up that is on top of the other solenoids? Kind of hidden, so you may have not seen/remembered to hook that one back up?

Like everyone said, you really need something that will read codes from the Trans control module.

Did you mix up the A & B trim solenoids ? ( 2 big ones on the end of valve body )

Not able to get scan tool today so i pulled it apart and every thing is in place. All solenoid are pluged in. Removed trim valves all look good. Small shaft ( pin) is in "z" slot. All loohs good.

If i did mix the trim soleniods is there a mark on them or should i flip flop and refill to try again?

Or did the tranny see a lack of fluid or press. and throw a code. To save the tranny did it put it in some kind of limp mode and only give me 3rd gear and reverse?

If you are laying under the truck looking up at it, the solenoid that is on the outter most corner should have part number 29541895 and the part number on the other one is 29541896

Solenoid on the outside has black plastic molding, solenoid inside has brown.
