I know I posted the problems earlier in the 2500HD & 3500 Trucks section but this would be the best place for it.

For starters I removed the Edge juice from the truck and had to go to work for two weeks and was all ready to send it in and have them diagnos the problem.

I emailed them on the weekend with my problem and knowing that they would not get to me untill Monday. They got back got back to me on the morning of Monday with a request of the Version number and the Manf Date of the box.

I called them that morninga and they said they would send me a new one to replace the old one that I have. They also said that they would include a box to send the old one back to them.

They did mention that they did have some promlems with the EGT's showing as high as 2216 and there have been some electronic problems.

All in all I think this company has done a great job to make the customer feel like they are being listend to and fixxing any problems that may accure.

I will post later when I get the new one installed to see if it is working correctly.

Has anyone ever had any issues with their EGT readings being very high and obviously high?

I just wanted to let people know if they are interested in aftermarket products like Edge that they will stand behind their products. At least in my case. I don't recall any issues with people having bad service from them.

I had high EGT readings with mine that was caused by my CB radio. Everytime I transmitted the EGT wire would act as a ANT causing the reading to go into the mid 2000s.

It is now fixed...took about a day, moving the CO-AX wire to moving the EGT wire. The fix was after I moved the EGT to the bottom of the firewall and using a clip from TDK from a local CB shop.

Knock on wood! It works fine now.
