I would really like my headlights to look like these. Are these just tinted or are they covers? Also if they are tinted does anyone know what percent tint that looks like because i would like to do that to my truck. Thanks.

Those look like covers...They snap right over the existing headlights....They are pretty common, should have no problem locating a pair.....Stylin Concepts, Summit, Ideal, etc......

Check your state vehicle code. They are against the law in Cal

I had a buddy tell me a way of getting around the law, Is to mix a small amount of black paint in with some clear coat and just paint the lights, That way the DOT info is still visable on the light, I dont know if it will work just what I was told

I have Auto Vent Shade smoked headlight covers on mine, I usually leave them on all the time during summer.

There is a transparent spray paint that is made to tint taillights/headlight. Its made by VHT and its called Nightshades. You cant tint it as dark or as light as you want. Pretty reasonable. 10 bucks a can locally. You can find it on ebay for like $12-$15. Check it out, pretty neet stuff! I think there's another post on here somewhere about it. Do a search.

Shades are sold just about anywhere. I would prefer them over painting just because it looks more professional and can be removed very easy if needed.

Actually, i think the paint looks A LOT better than stick on shades IMHO. As far as removal, yes, the stick on would be a lot easier to remove. I dont have any pictures of my truck yet, but here is the link that i first saw this stuff. There are a couple of pictures on here of the stuff, but nothing on an HD. I think it looks good. My $.02
