The black plastic door stop on my rear doors are dried out and are creaking badly. What's the best thing to use to re-lube them? I was thinking maybe white lithium grease, would that do the trick long term?? Thanx

I would try a light coat of white lithium grease, should work but i wouldnt put to much on so no one gets covered in it when getting in the truck.

If you are still under warranty, take it to the dealer and get some new ones. That should not be a problem. Is this on your '06?...

It's the '06. I figured they'd Just lube them anyway. I'll give it a shot at the dealer, thanks for the advice.

If you are looking for a true rubber conditioner... try liquid glycerin. Learned this from an old chem teacher back in the high school days. I have been using it on weather strip and seals ever since. Works great. Cheers.

I think they make a lube in a spreay can just for weatherstripping. I need some myself, my rear doors got the squeek too.
