I currently have my antenna run around the front windshield, however I think I want to switch it to the rear and have it enter through the brake light. I looking for someone with experence that can explain how to do this. I know the head liner needs to drop somehow and the side panel's need to be removed. I have never taken apart the inside of this truck and do not want to ruin anything. Bestbuy wants $50.00 to do the antenna, however with a little guidence I am sure I can do it.

What I did on my S-10 was pull the A-pillar shround and pull the 3 rd break light. I then took a coat hanger apart and hooked one end of it. Shoved it in from the hole in the third break light area and just kind fished it around till I was able to grab the end of it from the A-pillar area. Taped the antenna to the coat hanger and pulled it through. I think on a full size truck you could doo the same. My head liner above the drivers seat area right where it meets the door fram pulls down maybe 1" or so.

On my D-max, I ran the XM antenna wire through the center cab clearance light area. Pulled the reading light/cubby hole area inside the truck and there the wires were. Pulled the A-pillar and ran a coat hanger between the roof and the liner till I got ii over to the reading light area. Taped the wires to it and pulled it through.

Hope this helps.

3-Fan thanks for the response. I did not think about using the inside cab light to get the wires through. I just did it. Took me 40 minutes to complete the project. Thanks for the information it was a big help. It was bothering me the way I had orig installed it and did not want to pay someone for a job that I perceived could be so easy.

Thanks Again.
