: Amsoil switch-First time DIY jonesport 03-24-2007, 11:06 PM I just a switched to Amsoil 15-40 Marine diesel and noticed an immediate reduction in engine noise. I also changed to 75-90 Syn gear. I am 46 years old and have never changed my own fluids until now (I am not proud of that but started my first business at 18 and have never had time to learn) Diesel Place gave me all the info and step by step details and it was a blast. I can afford to have someone else do it but I never will again. Thanks for all the great info! The AmsOil Bmk-17, EaO 26 Oil Filter and EaBP100 is the way to go. I have almost 55,000 mile son my truck and 44,000 miles without drain plug removal. I use AmsOil Series 3000 5w-30. Good Luck! | ||
