Yesterday I was having problems....I got a static/distortion through my speakers while listening to music on my ipod. I would pause the song and it was still there. Tried turning the ipod off and back on, tried unplugging the ipod, tried switching modes on the factory head unit and it would go away then...but whenever I switched it back to AUX, it would still do it. Tried listening to a CD and it was fine. So, I unplugged the connecter on top of the USA SPEC module (the one that goes to the head unit) and plugged it back in and it went away....
This happened 3 or 4 more times yesterday. I also tried unplugging the RCA cables on the interface and that didn't work either...only thing that would work is that top connecter.
One more thing to note...is that when I would unplug that top connecter, it would still make that static until I plug it back in...
Does this sound like a problem with the USA spec unit itself?
Thanks!
