Diesel Driver

hey all,
i've been lurking the forums awhile and recently bought a '04 lly CC. i currently have about 3500 miles on the truck and started having this problem: everytime i quickly accelerate and the rpm's reach around 2100 the truck gets this rush of air coming from the driver side engine compartment. it started about a week ago as i tried to catch up to a friend on the highway and redlined the truck, before this it had never happened. i left it at the dealership for a few hours and the diesel tech said that it wasn't normal but wasn't really sure why it was happening. he thought it had something to do with the turbo opening up too much or something like that. he spoke with gm and they told him they've had two other diesels with the same problem and were researching a way to fix it.
i'm just curious if anyone else here has had this problem or any knowlege/advice they can share with me about it. the tech is suppose to call me this week with any info he gets on the problem. thanks in advance everyone.
