Today my Duramax started smoking constantly. I was driving down the road and gave it alot of gas for about 200 feet. When i was done i went back and their was a line about 5 inches wide and 100 feet long of some sort of fluid from my truck. I went and looked at my truck again and it was smoking from the bottom of the truck, just behind the rear window? Should i bring it into the stealership, or not worry. The truck has 65,000 miles on it and still has warranty.
Thanks

Color of smoke?
Color of fluid?
Have you check all your fluid levels?
Codes?
Miles on truck?
Any performance stuff other than what's in you sig?

The color of the smoke i couldnt tell because it was night, but i could barely see the cars headlights behind me.
I couldnt see the color of the fluid but it happened right after i gave it alot of gas.It was quiet alot of whatever it was though.
All the fluids were ok.
I have no codes in that i can see.
65,000 miles are on the truck.
No performance things besides a 4 inch exhaust and a K&N filter

I'm sorry Billy, but I think you have injuector issues. Get it into a dealer ASAP, and tell them you suspect you have an injector failure.
GM extended the warranty on injectors to 200,000 miles. They will replace them, for nothing. They had better. Alot of others have had this happen.
Let us know how it turns out.
Hopefully I am wrong. Won't be the first time.....won't be the last.

I agree, head for the dealer. Hopefully the one near "scyphers" (Where ever that is, or am I missing something) has a decent diesel tech.
