Well my sudden HUGE drop in mpg has me baffled. It happened about the time I went from amsoil to delo. Could non-synthetic make a 5-6 mpg difference?
Im getting about 200+ from a tank now and it used to be near 400+.

No oil would cause that kind of drop.Your problem lies elsewhere......

PC,
Do a search on milage and injectors. I think that is one of the signs of injector failure.
Man, unless you're hammering the crap out of that truck, something is seriously wrong on the fuel consumption.
My worse milage was pulling a 6k TT with 4 people and a dog back from Hilton Head, SC through the mountains at 70 mph. That was only 11.7 mpg.
Normal unloaded higway/city is about 17 mpg for me.

PC: I believe my mileage went up some but ( no brag ) I was getting great mileage before change over. Biggest change I saw was drop in engine temps 4-5 degrees.

When I change my oil to synthetic I do the whole truck. Differentials, tranny, transfer case and anything else that requires lubrication. Also when switching over is when I start my power mods. I have noticed that with electronic power upgrades( depending on your right foot )that they can also help with mileage. I agree that PCs problem sounds like something else besides a switch from synthetics.
