I was reading a thread about putting to much oil in the lbz. So I checked the paperwork on my oil change and i was charged for three gallons. I think thats to much so I checked the oil and its a little past full but it was hard to tell how far the way the dip stick is. Where on the dip stick is to full?

On my truck theres a F and a little line under it. Thats the full mark

Yes that is too much. As you will seed in your manual the capacity is 10qts which is 2.5gals not 3.0. My suggestion would be to remove some oil and then refill to full. Hope this wasn't a dealer doing this work. Gotta watch those grease monkes!

You were probably charged for the 3 gallons cause they opened three. Next time tell them if they are gonna charge ya for it, throw the other half of the jug in the bed so you have it. Your paying, tell them you want all of what you paid for.
