: Do you have 3rd Gen Factory FOG Lights?

Hey Guys,

Please tell me you have a few extra minutes to look at your truck for me this weekend so I can get my parts ordered Monday for this! http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Embarrased.gif

I'm trying to add some fog lights to my truck. I want to use the lights in the Mopar Kit, but it includes a relay and rocker switch. I *want* them to be controlled using the factory headlight switch. It is my understanding that the factory relay, wiring to the front of the truck, etc is all in place for this. I checked the fuse box and the relay and fuse are already there.

I believe all I need is a replacement headlight switch with the "pull" fog light functionality. -- and maybe a jumper wire.

So here is my question to you -- (pictures would be nice too!) There is a jumper that runs between the fog lights on these trucks. At what points does it plug in? Where does it plug in to the main wiring harness? I have a plug hanging down with nothing connected to it next to where the driver side fog light mounts, just outside of that hole behind the bumper. I also found a wire just to the driver side of the intercooler about where the vertical center is, that is connected to something, but I have no idea what. It looks like a plastic plug or something.

Are either or both of these the fog light connections? Also -- I haven't seen the jumper that goes to the passenger side, but I was curious if it plugs directly into both lights, etc?

Any help would be VERY much so appreciated! I've researched this online and asked several dealers and nobody seems to know about the wiring for sure. I saw a post on TDR about it, but it was vague as to the wire plug location.

Thanks!!!!! http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cool.gif

just looked, the jump between runs from drivers side fog to pass side fog right along the low air inlet in the bumper, in the curve just over the air dam. from drivers side the fog harness goes up inside that corner and dissapears from easy view, there are a few bundles in ther all loomed and taped, hard to know which goes where...... finnally figured out the silencer ring, what a cheesey pos stamped steel waste of space.... added to the pile of restrictions removed and breathin better than ever.
