I want to thank those that responded to my questions on buying a new F250. As a result of some of the comments and continued research I’ve decided to forgo the rebate and buy the 2005 F250 Crew Short Box, 6.0, Auto.
The thing is I liked the new front suspension and the tighter turning radius. I also figured the new tow command center was a must have. Other options on the truck are heavy duty service suspension, 265/70RX17E all terrains,alluminum wheels, captains chairs, adv. security group,cab steps, sliding rear window, privacy glass, fog lamps,reciever hitch, power seats, adj. pedals, the last two are for the wife as she has to drive it too. Tom , how has it been now that you have had it a few months?? Still good?! How is the mileage?

I almost went with Ford also but, I drove the GMC and loved it. Good luck.
