This is a wierd problem, My truck when it sits for more than about 5 hours or overnight, when I crank it, it cranks a couple of times and then fires "twice" and then idles. It sounds odd, but it does it every morning. Ill try to make it a bit clearer to understand.

It runs fine, but it starts odd every time it site for a while, No chande If i let fuel pressure build or not. Please help.

I got a '98 24 valve and it does pretty much the same thing.Not all the time. I thought it was normal operating procedure. I drive a peterbilt for work with a big cat and it starts like what you described all the time.Except with more authority.
