I have an 06' Chevy Duramax LLY and I noticed some oil coming out of the pipe that goes from the turbo to the innercooler; right around the rubber boot(on the driver's side). I was wondering if this is normal or is my turbo going out?:(
I'd appreciate any feedback I can get.

Yes, its normal. You truck has a closed PCV system that recurculates the crankcase gases back into your intake. Some the oil that gets passed will seep thru your intercooler hose connections. My 06 does it too. When I had my 05 it had the same issue.

take it back to the dealer. There is a TSB on this problem, they put on a newer boot, and a sealant amd possibly a newer clamp. mIne 04.5 had the same problem, dealer fixed it at about 2K miles, now at 45K miles, it doesn't even have a film on the boot.
