...I checked out Fleetfilter's website, but they want $37 shipped for one and I was reading in a dif thread that I should only be paying about half that. Where are these $20 filters people are talking about. And I don't want crap either. :D

check with local fleet truck shops as to where they purchase filters. You may have to take number off your filter to them so they can cross reference the number. If you buy several filter they usually give better deal, so if you have friends with durmax trucks share the expense. I buy mine locally from truck parts supplier for $19 or less.

You might take a look at www.blinefilter.com (http://www.blinefilter.com). I just got 6 of the Racor #PFF5545 from them at $20.09 ea.

Why?
When Parker/Racor is one of the premium mfgs. of filters and most likely makes the OEM filters anyway.
I'm tired of having to pay my dealer double prices for everything.

Try GMPartsDirect.com if you want the AC-Delco new blue fuel filter part# 89060534. They have them for $20.74 and whatever the shipping cost is for your state.

Fleetfilter charges the same shipping fee for one filter or six. Since they don't spoil, buy a bunch unless you have a local place to get them. My local NAPA charges almost as much as the dealer.

$24.89 + ship--have no idea why you saw $37.Brian just had to raise his prices--used to be $19.56.He does offer 5-20% discount on quantity ordered also.Still an excellent place to buy. Also,Napa this week has our fuel filter for $21--I'll be there today in about 2 hours actually--also serving free lunch.

You don't have to pay double, I pay $26.00 for mine at my dealer...I am not paying double at my dealer, unless they are $13.00 per filter...

Well, it's a long drive to your dealer.
And, after my dealer wanted over $30 not only for a fuel filter but also for one Allison spin-on along with not knowing what Dex VI was, I decided to get all my parts from somewhere else.

Cleve, I feel your pain. You gotta do what you gotta do. It's a shame some people have to pay high prices, and others get the stuff for a good price. Also a shame one can get lousy service from a dealer, and some get great service...

What he meant or should have said is that yes,the more filters you buy from Brian, the shipping cost per unit goes down--as is usually the case wherever you go. And to furthur decrease weight and volume,Brian will sometimes open a box with more room in it to partially stuff another filter inside and then seal it good with tape.

Your comment IS true! Sorry for the bad info. My last order with Fleetfilter was a couple months ago on 4 oil filters. Todays price would cost me $6 more due to about $1 increase in each filter cost and the rest is shipping increases. I guess I'd be suspicious if the prices went down.
