If it does code get a finger stick. a EGR blocker plate is also recomended but unrelated to adding exhaust. Do a search on "finger stick"

My truck didnt code with exhaust but some do :)

Any reason why some trucks throw codes and others don't ?

P.S. - was reading a posting about on-star being able to "see" any tuning done on a truck .... will Big Brother be able to "see" finger sticks ???

Mine didnt throw codes for the longest time, but now its pretty regular...I need to install the finger. No, Onstar wont know about the blocker plate and finger stick. A tuner maybe, but why should they even be looking?

Depends on the dealer, mine doesnt like my 4" but hell. I figure since I have a brand new exhaust, no CAT, and a blocker plate anyway, go ahead and void my emissions warranty :D
