I had a miss ( 1 ) one night and thats it , then the next morn. I started the truck to warm up and it was surging from 800- 1800 rpm cont. untill I shut it down . Restarted it and everything was fine , nothing since then . Is this a warning of things to come ? I'd like your thoughts Guys thanks Alan

It could be fuel delievery or pressure. Lift pump not suppling or injectors not atomizing. Dirty fuel filter, dirty air filter good place to start, then check lift pump operation when you bleed the filter housing. Fuel pump relay on the firwall, jump orange wire to grey wire with a paper clip.

sounds like optic sensor blip to me.
