295x75x16 BFG AT is a 34.5" tire

Nitto also makes a 295x75x16 in their Terra Grappler which claims to be a little taller than the BFG and much cheaper, but I have had no experience with this tire. I do know that BFG ATs are a great tire. I don't know really what you are going for but I run 315/75/16 maxxis mudders on my truck (T-bars cranked). I am pretty sure I will drop back to a smaller size next time and lower my T-bars back down. The ride of my truck is too stiff like it is http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif. Let me know what you decide to go with.

How do you like the 315's on your stock wheels? I would do this but am a little leary of putting that wide of a tire on the stock 6.5" rim. Even me wanting to put 305's on my stock rims is pushing it but I like the wide and taller look but I like my stock rims too much to get rid of them.

Do you rub anywhere or what did you have to do so they wouldn't rub?

You got any pics of your truck?

I love the look of my truck with the 315s. I don't have any pics right now, but I will do my best to get some up this weekend. I put a dremel tool lift on it http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif. They still rub very little on the upper A-arms if I hold a full turn http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif. Keep in mind the higher tire you go with the more performance you loose! Trust me. Especially pulling in the higher gears.

Sounds pretty funny to me to put a 12.4 inch tire on a 6.5 inch wheel. There MUST be a huge bulge in the middle of that tire, the rest probably does not touch the street. Is also not safe (too much flex).
But thats just my opinion and no critic!
